How it works

From first photo to signed closeout. Six steps.

Cleat runs the whole loop — signup, project setup, floorplan, pins, MAC tickets, signed PDF. Here's exactly what happens between first tap and retention money landing.

The Cleat loop

Every project moves through the same six stops. No training, no consultant, no certification.

  1. Sign up

Create your workspace in under two minutes. Pick Starter, Pro, or Team. Invite your crew by email — they don't need accounts yet, just a phone.

What this looks like: email + password, pick a plan, name your workspace. Done.
  2. Create a project

Name the job, drop in the client and site address, and tag your PM and installers. Every photo, pin, and signature from here gets stamped to this project.

What this looks like: a project card with the client name, site, crew, and a running activity feed.
  3. Upload the floor plan

PDF or PNG, any page count. We process it on the way in — no waiting, no third-party viewer. Pin-ready the moment it's up.

What this looks like: drag the plan in, watch it render, start tapping within seconds.
  4. Pin punch items

Tap the plan, snap the photo, pick the assignee, set priority. Comments, before/after photos, and status all live on the pin. Your crew works from their phones — no training.

What this looks like: an orange pin on Workstation 14B with three photos, two comments, and a "fixed" stamp.
  5. Handle MAC tickets

Clients submit move/add/change requests from the portal. You quote, they approve, your crew does the work. Every ticket has a paper trail — quoted amount, approval time, completion photos.

What this looks like: a ticket thread with "Quoted $420 · Approved Tue 10:14 · Done Thu 3:02."
  6. Close out & sign

Auto-draft the closeout package from the project — punch items, photos, MACs, sign-off page. You sign first via DocuSeal embed, the client signs second by email. Signed PDF archived, invoice released.

What this looks like: a single PDF lands in your inbox, signed by both parties, ready for accounting.

The whole loop. One tool.

No spreadsheet. No WhatsApp thread. No folder full of phone photos. Every stop is stamped, searchable, and signed — so the closeout is already ready the day your crew walks out the door.
